As you push through the game, you’ll pick up various types of Magicite that will enable you to cast their aligned magic that chapter; and later in the game, you’ll be able to find Magicite rings to give you access to that Magicite’s element permanently.

The magic provided by Magicite is true to its classic Final Fantasy roots, and so there are not a lot of surprises.

There are six Magicite colors, each harnessing a different magic force. These are:

Red — Fire Blue — Blizzard Purple — Thunder Yellow — Life Green — Cure White — Clear

In single-player, you can combine two spells in the menu to cast most of the two-Magicite spell fusion combinations seen below.

You can also augment Force Strike with Fire, Blizzard, or Thunder in much the same manner to be able to use Icestrike, Firestrike, or Thunderstrike.

How to Combine Spells in Multiplayer

Things get a little more intense in multiplayer. Each player will have to aim their spells at the same target and cast them at the same time to create spell combinations, and the results are often well worth it.

A handful of spells can only be cast in multiplayer, and they are marked in the combos below. Only one spell requires four players, and that is Hastaga. There are a few that require three or more players.

Augmenting your weapon for an advanced Firestrike, Icestrike, or Thunderstrike in multiplayer requires a similar casting process, as one player will need to charge and aim their Force Strike while one or more cast an elemental spell in the same spot.

Enhancing Spells

While the spell list below goes over each spell’s minimum requirements, you can actually further augment them if you have more than the required amount of players to cast them.

For each additional player casting past the minimum requirement, the spell will receive a +1 indicating an increase in its potency.
